Zanzibar House is a boutique hotel on Zanzibar’s northeast coast, in the Matemwe district, approximately 40 kilometers from Stone Town. It is a privately owned and operated motel with 7 or 8 rooms. The hotel has a swimming pool and a bar on a private sand beach facing the Indian Ocean. Guests can participate in activities such as scuba diving and snorkeling. Some guests praised the hotel’s friendly staff and gorgeous location, while others complained about the lack of storage space in the rooms and the view from the “Garden View” rooms.
