Mount Meru Game Lodge, which is tucked away between the Usa River and the Sanctuary, has cozy lodgings, an outdoor dining area, a gift shop, and a distinctive location for weddings. The Lodge is a fantastic place to begin a safari because it is only 30 minutes from Kilimanjaro International Airport. Dr. Andreas Von Nagy built The Lodge and Sanctuary, an animal sanctuary and training facility, in the 1950s. One of the oldest hotels in northern Tanzania, The Lodge, has maintained its old-world elegance while incorporating contemporary conveniences. It continues to provide tourists with a special experience despite being family-owned.
