Emerson’s House, located in the picturesque World Heritage Site of Stone Town, Zanzibar, consists of two prestigious heritage hotels: Emerson Spice and Emerson on Hurumzi. Emerson Skeens, whose legacy continues to have a good impact on the community to this day, founded these exceptional institutions.
Emerson Spice
Is one of Stone Town’s greatest hotels, with two exceptional restaurants: The Secret Garden and Rooftop Tea House. This multi-story boutique hotel has an inner courtyard and eleven tastefully decorated rooms furnished with unique antiques, as well as spectacular vistas and authentic culinary experiences.
Emerson on Hurumzi
On the other hand, is an intriguing maze of miniature bridges, swings, and private tea cafes, as well as big uniquely constructed rooms. From the Keep Suite, accessed by castle-inspired bridges and steps, to the Seyyed suite, which reflects the regal lifestyle of a sultan with royal seal bedcovers and Omani red-draped furnishings, each room has its own intriguing narrative. This old property has been meticulously restored and now houses an outstanding collection of furniture, fabrics, and art.
