Dream vacation!
I came here for my 40th birthday trip after a long time of no international travel, so wasn’t sure what to expect. Regarding cleanliness, this hotel went above and beyond to ensure all areas were cleaned…felt totally safe! As a diamond member I was upgraded to a nice room right on the beach. Huge walk-in shower, comfy bed and linens, and the A/C worked perfectly. The food was exceptional! From breakfast, it was nice to see the staff enforcing guests to use gloves when using the buffet….great selection of foods and a changing menu every day. Had dinner at Fisherman’s Grill the first night…ended up going back a few more nights it was so good. The service was top-notch and the employees were very friendly. The area of Nungwi was really cool and everything was walking distance. It was nice to stroll out of my room to the beach and go for a walk….there are a lot of hustlers on the beach, but they are contained there. The resort had security around the clock to make sure non-guests were not coming up to sell to the people on the lounge chairs. But if you want a fresh coconut, souvenir, massage, etc….simply walk down and anything is yours. My wife took advantage of a massage package….great value. She never wanted to leave! And I spent my time at the beach bar and pool bar….the entire bartender crew were fantastic!!!
