Diamond Trust Bank (DTB) Tanzania customers can bank online in two main ways: the DTB mobile app and USSD service, branded M24/7, and the browser-based internet banking portal, i24/7. This guide explains what DTB Tanzania online banking can do, the limits, how to register and how to stay safe.
DTB Tanzania online banking channels
According to DTB Tanzania’s mobile banking page, M24/7 can be used through the DTB mobile app or a USSD code (shown on the page as 15077#; confirm the exact dialling format with the bank). For computer users, the bank’s website links to its i24/7 internet banking login.
What you can do with DTB mobile and online banking
- Transfers: internal transfers with name check, cross-currency transfers, TISS payments in TZS and USD, and transfers to other banks and mobile networks through TIPS (daily limit TZS 5 million)
- Send money to M-Pesa, Mixx by Yas, Airtel Money, HaloPesa and T-Pesa wallets
- Bills: LUKU electricity, government payments (GePG), airtime for all main networks, pay-TV and some airline tickets
- Cards and accounts: prepaid card loading, credit card settlement, balance, mini and full statements, SMS and app alerts
- Requests and investments: order or stop cheque books, book a fixed deposit, and invest in UTT AMIS funds
Charges for these services are set out in DTB’s published tariffs, so check them before you make large or frequent transfers.

How to register
DTB’s FAQs say you register for mobile banking by filling in the registration form at your nearest branch. Once your details are captured, the bank sends a one-time PIN by SMS to activate the service. Download the app only from the official app stores. Staying safe online
Never share your PIN, password or OTP, and log in to internet banking only through the link on the bank’s own website. DTB’s toll-free line is 0800 110 110.
