3 – 5 Days Camping Safari Tanzania: An Unforgettable Experience

A 3 day camping safari Tanzania holiday is one of the best ways to experience the true untamed heart of Africa. The Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, and the Ngorongoro Crater are all part of the Northern Tanzania Safari Circuit, and this trip is a wonderful and affordable way to visit all three of them.

Exciting Three-Day Safari Experience

A 3 day camping safari Tanzania excursion is exciting because it combines the thrill of adventure with the affordability of a camping trip. This trip is perfect for nature lovers who want to see as much of Africa’s incredible wildlife as possible. For three days, you’ll travel to some of Northern Tanzania’s most well-known national parks, where you can observe exotic animals in their native habitats.

Location of Camping Facilities

Camping is an integral aspect of every safari vacation. Although there are campsites within Tarangire National Park, most people opt to stay at one of the larger campgrounds outside the park, or at Mto wa Mbu, which is close to Lake Manyara National area, so that they can spend the next day exploring that area.

You can camp outside of Tarangire National Park and go on morning wildlife drives (park entry costs may be extra). You could also spend the night at one of the scenic campgrounds around Lake Manyara, such as Migombani, Panorama, or Fanaka in Mto wa Mbu.

Ngorongoro Simba Campsite, perched on the rim of the crater, is still another alternative; it provides stunning vistas of the crater bottom.

How to Prepare for Wildlife Sightings

The three-day Tanzania camping safari is jam-packed with opportunities to see wild animals. You have a good possibility of seeing all five of the “Big 5” (Buffalo, Elephant, Lion, Leopard, and Black Rhino). Numerous other species of animals are also common sights, such as giraffes, zebras, impalas, gazelles, warthogs, hartebeests, gnus, hyenas, cheetahs, and many more.

Travelling to the floor of the Crater and Lake Manyara will allow you to witness a wide variety of birds, some of which are found exclusively in Tarangire National Park.

The 3 day camping safari Tanzania journey can be arranged as a lodge safari beginning in Arusha if preferred.
