Overview – Tanzania Harmonize (Jeshi, Konde Boy) Tanzanian Bongoflava Musician

Born 15th March 1991, Rajab Abdul Kahali is a Tanzanian music entrepreneur and Bongo flava musician. He is widely known as Harmonize. Also, he is sometimes called Tembo, Jeshi, Konde Boy, Konde-Mabeyo and Mbunge.

He is widely known for his songs “Show Me” feat. Rich Mavoko and “Kwa Nwaguru” feat. Diamond Platinumz. He was included in the African edition of MTV Base’s “Ones to Watch for 2017.” Harmonize was the first artiste to pen a recording deal with Diamond Platinumz’s WCB Wasafi record label. He has since gone on to establish his record label, known as Konde Music Worldwide.

Career of Harmonize Tanzanian Musician

Harmonize’s music career started in 2011. In 2015, he was signed to WCB Wasafi after meeting Diamond Platinumz. His debut track, “Aiyola,” was a commercial success. He bagged three awards from AEA USA, AFRIMMA and WatsUp TV.

On 25th February 2019, Harmonize released his debut EP “Afro Bongo.” The EP featured Yemi Alade, Burna Boy, Mr. Eazi and Diamond Platinumz. The EP included four songs, including his big hit Kainama, which ranks as the top track from the EP. The music video of Kainama garnered more than 14 million views in only 12 months.

At the end of 2019, Harmonize parted ways with WCB Wasafi. Subsequently, he released many projects, like “The Return of Q Chillah.” After leaving WCB, Harmonize dropped four commercial singles like “Uno” and “Hainstui.” Uno is included in “Afro East, his first studio album which was released on 14th March 2020. The 18-track album is a follow-up to his 2019 EP “Afro Bongo.” The album features Mr. Eazi, Skales, Falz, Burna Boy, Yemi Alade, Phyno, Lady Jay Dee, Yemi Alade and many others. It was his first project since quitting Diamond Platinumz’s record label. Afro East is another project that shows Harmonize’s ability to fuse Afropop with Bongo and Singeli seamlessly.

Tanzania Harmonize Personal Life

Harmonize had a four-year affair that resulted in a widely publicized marriage with Italian entrepreneur and socialite Sarah Michelotti. In 2020, a year after the marriage, it was revealed that the couple had gone their separate ways because of irreconcilable differences. According to reports, the breakup was partially caused by infidelity on Harmonize’s side, which led to him having his first kid out of wedlock. Harmonize has since then embraced his new role as a dad. A couple of months later, he openly announced his new relationship with Tanzanian actress Kajala Masanja.
